How to Draw Pichu

February 19, 2011 in How to Draw A Pokemon, How to Draw All Pokemon, How to Draw Electric Pokemon

I’m beginning to edit all my old drawing tutorials on this website, and thought that this one should be the first to update because someone requested a drawing tutorial on this website. That drawing tutorial was “how to draw Pichu.” I thought it was a great idea and decided to upload it. When I uploaded the drawing tutorial, it was kind of a rush/hack. So I’m editing it, and here I am sharing my tips and an actual drawing tutorial from the web. It could be any drawing tutorial, and as always the rules are: One YouTube drawing video and one drawing tutorial from any website. You’ll probably see most of the drawing tutorials from a website called Dragoart – a pop culture drawing website. All drawing tutorials that are new at that site is really worth the time seeing.

So enough with the pep talk and more with the tips so I can move on with the tutorials that I want to share – their high quality drawing tutorials and you’re probably going to look at the drawing tutorial first and not the description/content of the lesson. Well, when drawing Pichu always remember that you’re drawing something similar to Pikachu, even though Pikachu is the evolved form after Pichu. Pichu isn’t a hard Pokemon to draw. In fact, it’s probably one of the easiest Pokemon to draw. Also, that’s basically what I can share for tips because there really isn’t anything on Pichu to help you with. The drawing video is good and so is the drawing tutorial. I think you’ll find them both interesting no matter what. Enjoy and thank you for visiting our website once again. Please if you must, leave a comment and tell me what you think. Share your thoughts, and don’t be afraid to share this website with one of your Pokemon fan friends. Our site isn’t just about drawing, it’s also about Pokemon.

* UPDATE * Sorry about the video. I haven’t had any time to edit this website. As an apology, I will share this drawing tutorial that I’ve found online (Not a drawing video.) Enjoy!

How to Draw Pichu

I really hoped you enjoyed this lesson. There’s more lessons to come in the future. Keep in mind that I’m always busy. Don’t expect 5 – 10 tutorials a day from me :) You could help the website grow more if you like just by joining the PokeTeam Community. All you do is upload drawing tutorials by finding a tutorial online (Videos or pictures) and add some text on what you think about that tutorial, or possibly give some tips.

How to Draw Ash Ketchum, Step by Step

September 12, 2010 in How to Draw Pokemon Characters, How to Draw Pokemon Trainers

This is an edited tutorial that will teach you how to draw Ash Ketchum, from Pokemon. I’ve found two drawing tutorials, one from Dragoart and one from this TutorialGuide. Unfortunately, the tutorial from Dragoart is highly outdated, so I’m going to share the official Dragoart drawing video from their YouTube channel.

First tutorial is the TutorialGuide tutorial, and it could be very complicated because the artist used lot’s of shapes and steps. Too many guidelines if you ask me, but it’s good enough to the point where you say “Good enough.” You know? Leave a comment about the shared tutorial. Share your thoughts!

So here’s the tutorial that I’ve wanted to share. It’s from TutorialGuide. Enjoy!

June 26, 2010 in How to Draw A Pokemon, How to Draw All Pokemon, How to Draw Flying Pokemon

draw ho ohHey guys! It’s me back with another fun filled drawing lesson on how to draw the most exciting and firey Pokemon of our time! This Pokemon fits in with one of the ‘flying’ type Pokemon along with Lugia, Articuno, Zapdos, Latias, Latios and so on and so forth! There are just so many Pokemon that are in this large fantastic universe. Imagine if these creatures were actually real and you could capture them to become a Pokemon trainer? I think it would be a great experience for everyone to wrap their arms around. Anyways, I’ll be listing a few tutorials on . Drawing Pokemon can be quite easy once you’ve figured out on how to draw the characters.

Step 1: Draw the basic guidelines for this pokemon. What you need to do is get prepared by having a paper, ruler, compass, and eraser for all the drawing purposes. The ruler and compass will guide you on making the circles and straight lines (if any). Keep in mind, when you draw the guidelines, sketch lightly to prevent permanent guidelines. Yuck!

Step 2: Start sketching out the details for this colorful bird. Begin drawing the detailing for the facial features such as the beak. Once finished, you’re ready to move onwards!

Step 3: Now, start sketching some other basics of this Pokemon’s recognizable face. This means roughly drawing the black circles that encircle the eye. Don’t forget to draw the crown on top of its head!

LugiaHere is a drawing tutorial that will teach you how to draw Lugia from Pokemon. Lugia is another Pokemon that the staff likes. Lugia wouldn’t be hard to draw at all. Lugia is a psychic/flying Pokemon, meaning it will have to look like it could fly and it should look like a psychic Pokemon. Lugia does look like a psychic Pokemon. Doesn’t it? Well let’s move onto the drawing tutorial. We found a drawing video for it too. We find it amazing that YouTube has a drawing tutorial for every Pokemon. If you want to learn how to draw Lugia step by step, then we advise you to visit this tutorial: how to draw lugia. Enjoy the drawing tutorial!

You should be all set for Lugia. If you had a hard time, then here is a drawing video that we found on YouTube.

VenusaurHere is a drawing tutorial that will teach you how to draw Venusaur step by step. Venusaur is one of our favorite Pokemon. We hope you enjoy the drawing tutorial. We also found a YouTube video that teaches you how to draw Venusaur. We have all sorts of grass/poison Pokemon drawing tutorials. Venusaur will look really dull when your done drawing him and so does Arceus. If you want to brighten up each drawing, spice it up a bit by coloring. Use Photoshop or crayons. We will remind you to color it at the end of this drawing tutorial.

  1. Draw an oval because Venusaur has a long oval horizontally.
  2. Know the style of Venusaur. Just because Venusaur is a grass/poison Pokemon, you need to draw leaves on him with a mushroom.
  3. Draw the design. Draw the designs of Venusaur like the head, leaves, eyes, mouth, legs, feet, and other.

You should give Venusaur some color with Photoshop or you can go old school and use crayons. There’s a drawing video bellow that will teach you how to draw Venusaur. Enjoy!
